Oregon Coast: Yoga Class and Surf Lesson
To start the day off we head to Living Fit Yoga studio in Seaside, OR to practice. The class is a Hatha Flow Yoga class designed to strengthen the body, calm the mind and open the heart. The class incorporates aspects of a traditional Hatha yoga class including breath and meditation combined with poses designed to warm you up for surfing.

After our 1 hour yoga class we will head out into nature, ready to soak in the beauty of Oregon! Short sands beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Oregon, just a 1/4 mile walk through old growth forest and you're there. The surf lesson is taught by California surf instructor Kelsey Ellis. Her native surf beach is Pacifico outside San Francisco. She is certified in surf therapy and leads lessons at surf camps along the west coast! After a surf lesson we will break to have some lunch together. All vegan and we can work around almost any dietary restrictions if you let us know in advance. After a lunch break we will continue to utilize our new surfing skills until we have to head home.

8:45-9:15 am- Pickup in Portland at Irving Park (best for park and ride) and at Director Park (best if you're taking public transportation)

10:30 am - Arrive at Living Fit Yoga in Seaside for Hatha Surf Flow Yoga Class

12:00 pm - Head to Short sands for Surf Lesson!

12:00-3:30 pm - Surf lesson and lunch.

4:00 pm- Head back to Portland

6:30 pm- Arrive in Portland
